Spruce Creek High School 2018 Teacher of the Year
On January 13th, the Volusia County School District held their 2018 Teacher of the Year gala banquet at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village. Each of Volusia County’s public schools selects its Teacher of the Year to compete for this honor. Receiving the nomination for Spruce Creek High School is none other than, Kelli Bundza, wife of Justin Bundza. Kelli is a Science teacher at Spruce Creek High School (SCHS) as well as the Student Government Association sponsor. She promotes the love of science in the elementary schools by inviting Kindergarten classes to visit for science lessons. Along with being a proud graduate of SCHS and High Point University, Kelli is currently pursuing a Master of Exceptional Student Education degree from UCF. Congratulations Kelli on receiving this prestigious honor.
